Christmas Party

special time of the year. The one and only.
There wasn't prequel to it as there simply wasn't any party last year.
However my aunt agreed to host the party at her place again this year.
Exchanged a few gifts. The lovable part about Christmas. Teehee.
Great food. Well, i didn't had a chance to taste the wine. Well, maybe next year.
Besides all that, all the cousins were finally gathered for once in a very, very long time.
It seems that the time was so long that it became a bit awkward to speak to each other.
Albeit that, we too had fun: had a few laughs together and Maisy's superb singing abilities.
" I want to test out my voice!"
Seriously, if not for my aunt there'll be no party or whatsoever. So kudos to Ben Yu and Family.

The part Which I simply do not like about Christmas is the part where the choosing of gifts happen. Simply because I really have no idea what and where to buy it. stupid idea of mine nearly cause me my spine, literally

COuldn't sleep. Thought of an idea. A rather stupid one.
Travel aimlessly around Singapore.
I used to travel in random public transport around Singapore.
Nowadays, i seriously think its a waste of time.
But for fun i went to try just one last time.
Bedok to Bedok via (in order) ToaPayoh, AngMoKio, Woodlands, Kranji, ChoaChuKang, BoonLay, Hougang and Finally back home.
These are the buses i took (in order of events).
225G, 26, 73, 169, 925, 172, 174, 151, 87, 225W
At Toa Payoh, theres this rather hagged looking man came towards me. I turned my back against him and slowly walked away.
Normally, people would be turned off and just forget about following on.
This man i tell he's persistent.
I pretend to walk even faster not knowing he's tailing me behind.
Don't know what's his problem.
I'm never gonna go travelling again.
My bottom hurts from the 6 hour of sitting.
Very very sleepy now.

It's the holidays man. I get to enjoy myself everyday simply by just lazying at home. lately i am hooked up to this Korean drama titled as You're Beautiful. This is just like any idol drama however it stands out by having a more interesting plot. This story is quite similar to the Hana kimi where the girl cross dresses as a male in order to do something. In the former drama, the female cross dresses in order to act as a temporary substitute for her twin brother when he got into a place in the fictional band A.N.JELL. Well, if you want to know more go catch the drama. I'm sure you guys would love it.

Yes. It's true.
I got persuaded to watch Twilight: New Moon with Joey and Leekiang.
However, to my surprise i find the movie quite nice.
The only thing i dislike about the movie is that sparking effect that comes on whenever the Vampires comes in contact with the sunlight.
I mean, it'll appear fine on a female but on a guy vampire, it's just wrong.
There's one scene that left me a deep inpression. I'm talking about the stupid pre-recognition scene whereby Bella and Edward runs in the forest.
Overall the movie was nice. I'll rate it 7.5/ 10.
Now thanks to them, i'm actually anticipating for the next installment.
Another 7 more months to go.....
For now, i'll focus on my BTT.

Yes!! The end of the term tests.
Went to K. Saw Huiwen and Michelle at the bus-stop. Chat with them.
Michelle very friendly.
Lotsa revelations.
Some were too much for me to handle.
Then went to Carl's Jr and have lunch with Huiwen.
She was complaining about how hungry she was.
After that, we then headed to Cold Storage to search for wine.
A present for her dad.
I once bought a bottle of Bailey's for my dad too. Enjoyed it. <3
We headed to Katong mall where i see huiwen off first before going to TeoHeng's.
Today's Session only saw a few of us there.
Joey, Leekiang and Christina had to leave early.
Well, that gave me some excuses to dominate the Karaoke machine.
Whats better than singing?? That is to be with friends.

MG or Rover?? Heard of it?
Probably, yes for some.
I once sat inside my uncle's rover small sedan.
It felt like very powerful, most probably he was flooring the accelerator.
It was your normal bog sedan that had went under a diet regime.
Light and powerful, i must say.
Now, MG strikes back with an a new model called the MG6.
It's a fastback vehicle that doesn't have any chinese roots to it.
I mean just look at the picture.

The back of the car somehow looks familiar. Opel insignia liftback, anyone??
That is some decent design.
When credits are due, i'll give it.
If it ever goes on sale in Singapore, i think it'll outdo the Toyota Camry's sales figure.
It has some european flavor in it.
Technical details at the moment are scarce.
It'll either have a 1.8litre naturally aspirated or a turbocharged engine of the same capacity which eventually produces 133bhp and 160bhp in their respective forms.
A respective effort from MG. Kudos to them

i took a 6 day break from blogging, now i'm back.
Just another week and it'll be the term tests.
The only subject i'm most worried is MBIO which is a continuation of last sem's MolGen.
Another 3 more sems and i'll be going for NS.
I'm anticipating my life in NS.
After that will be work, work and work.
Lately, i've been late for school.
I must not absent myself from lessons anymore or i'll be haunted by 'P's everywhere.
Pray that it won't come true.
Christmas coming round, so i wish everyone an early Merry X'Mas.

Just recently china sent over 2 of their pandas as a gift of the bilateral relationship between the two countries. But when it came to the names to be given to them (I swear i really laughed my ass off when I heard this). The possible names are related to food. Get ready for this, satay and rojak. What a joke! But it's kind of cute. A bit off topic there, it's juanping birthday this coming sunday. We're going to give him a surprise party. Hope it turns out well.

Adventurous. Daring. New.
These are the words i received from my Mum today.
Just this evening i was experimenting with the new saucepan my mum bought.

Coincidentally, there were a few sticks of leftover Potong ice-cream.
I threw all of them into the saucepan and melted them.
After that i placed them into a container to cool them down.
Then i took out a few pieces of the crepe i bought last week and laid it out.
I then spread the melted red bean ice-cream onto the crepe.
For my share, i added extra 'filling'. Haha.

Next, i rolled the crepe and placed them back into the fridge.
When my mum came back, i treated to her this dessert of mine.
I added a few slices of peach onto the top of the red bean ice-cream crepe for decoration purposes and a few drops of chocolate syrup on the plate.
I tasted it before serving. It was a tad too sweet for my liking. Perhaps i can replace it with other flavors too.

There's definitely still room for improvement.
Dang, should have taken some pics.
My first showcase. Haha.
Well then, i'm off to bed.
Tomorrow's AMIC quiz. Hope its the one that i expected it to be.

Pure tiredness. This week was a rather packed week cause i feel lethargic everyday.The 'tape-py' tears are there to show my tiredness and at the same express my anxiety for the MCT quiz which was just next. I took this during ABCHM tutorial. LK and the others also did a version of themselves too. Each having different expressions/ poses. When they upload it i'll share it on my blog. A day full of events

As you can see from the title itself. I've had a very eventful day today. First i stayed back and Studied with lk till 4pm in the librar while waiting foor Joey and Dorothy to finish their shifts for the yellow ribbon project. Ate chicken burger from Mensa. Doing simple origami for the yellow ribbon project. Then lk and Louis wanted to go and donate their blood however they weren't qualified. One reason being the heartrate fast with the other reason being unable to locate the vein on the arm to insert the drawing blood needle. To be frank I'm afraid of the pain. I'm having a hard time to remember everything for tomorrow's MCT quiz. Hope it does not turn out as difficult as imagined. Pray, pray.

It's coming to the fourth week of Sem 2.2 and i'm still noy really into the studying mood yet.
Lately, i've been crazy over Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook.
Its addictive.
Once you start, you'll never stop.
Believe me, i've tried.
All these for a measly chance to top the board.
Currently i'm sixth in position.
Playing it has hone my observation skills.
Take quicker glances, that is.

Lately, my ipodtouch's springboard kept crashing.
That happens whenever i tried to view all the album covers using the cover flow mechanism.
Waiting for my eight hundred dollars to enter into my pocket.
Thinking of using that money to buy a netbook.
Light, stylish yet practical.
Decided to leave the heavy and bulky laptop at home.

I've been on hiatus ever since sem 2.2 started.
Didn't have any motivation to blog till now.
Lately, things are going well enough.
How i wish to go for another karaoke session soon?
Itching to sing leh.

Speaking of which, my CP just told us that we have to participate in this year's CCN day.
Which is like, aiyo for what?
Really no idea how to survive through this year's event lor.
A lot of things to take into consideration.
If my memory doesn't fails me, our profit for the previous CCN day which was in year 1 was only 50 bucks.
Now, that is pathetic.
Really, i think i'm giving up on this. Sighs.

Oh yeah that reminds me, this end of the month brown eyed girls are coming to Singapore for a concert at the Fort Canning Park.
Wondering whether to go or not?
Mmm, I'll think about it....

Why does everyone in my dream die tragically? And coincidentally they all die the same way. Falling from the ninth floor. So far i've yet to seen myself die yet. It was a close call for me, I managed to climb back in as there were poles hanging outside the parapet wall in the kitchen. Maybe its some kind of premonition? Are they for real? Or I'm just being paranoid? Hope it's the latter that's true.

141009 was the shortest day i've been through.
Got up at 11 in the morning and went straight to bed at 9pm.

Woke up abruptly at around 4 in the morning.

Apparently i had a dream. This particular taxi driver couldn't bring me to my destination so i got off the cab halfway in the middle of nowhere and then.. i woke up.

From what i could remember, i jumped off the cab somewhere near the temple at Toa Payoh there.
I never knew dreams could be so realistic.

Tomorrow, i'll be meeting the usual suspects for dinner. Korean cuisine.
My hao-jie-shao mah.
Affordable, big portion and hopefully good service.

~~Already into its second episode this week~~, Inuyasha Final act follows the later parts in the original manga.
Lotsa things happened, Hakudoshi died -absorbed by Miroku's wind tunnel-
Not long after that, Kagura too died.
Before that she apparently regained her freedom from Naraku, which is to receieve back her heart.
However, Naraku injected a large amount of miasma into her causing her to lose her life eventually.

At the end, we can see there's a red string of fate linking Kagome and Inuyasha.
In japanese, it's called Akai Ito.
It's the season of fall now in Japan, there's a slew of anime series coming right up.
Another anime that i'll be following is the thriller series 'Darker than Black'
featuring a tie-in with Abingdon Boys School for the ending theme and STEREOPONY for the ending, song entitled 'Tsukiakari no Michishirube'. The single will be release in the month of November.
Can't wait!
I officially think that the korean language is much more easier to grasp than the Japanese language as the korean pronunciation sounds very, very similar to mandarin.
One thing i concluded from watching those Korean music shows. The korean music scene is so hactic, no doubt about that.
Gaining heavy eye bags and fainting here and there.
My favorite Korean artist of the month is G-Dragon from BIGBANG.
Will introduce him in the next few posts.

18 is nothing but just a number to the majority.

However, on the contrary my thoughts on turning 18 are somehow different from the mainstream.

To me, turning to the age of eighteen is the stage of transition -from a teenager to an young adult- which means heavier responsibility.

Yester-evening, i met up with LK and the rest of the gang at Clarke Quay.

Then we went up to Manhattans to have our celebratory dinner.
Two birthday boys leh. -Zhixin and Me-
The seafood platter is really eat till you drop, seriously i'm not joking.

Luckily, i heeded LK's advice and shared the meal with her and Joey.
I was damn full, probably because of all those heavily breaded fried crustaceans.
It was a sumptuos meal albeit a tad oily to my liking.

Then as for dessert was a cake specially designed for the both of us by Joey and Leekiang.
Aw, how sweet of them to do so.
Really appreciate it.
Zhixin also ordered something else for dessert -mud pie-
It was chocolatie, no doubt.

Next, we then headed to table 108, CHIJMES for drinks.
Thoning till the next morning.

We also sang as there was a Karaoke machine there too.

As it was thursday, there wasn't much crowd except for the Indian club next door.
After 2am, we were situated outside the lounge in an open outdoor area.
Thats where we spent our night, chatting and continue drinking.

For breakfast, we headed to Macdonalds@Odeon towers.
Headed home afterwards.
A really memorable 18th birthday for me.

Thanks a lot you guys. It means a lot to me.
Speaking of which, i promised LK to have a ride on the Bungee ride@Clarke Quay for the next b'day.
Lets hope it'll come soon.

Seriously, i really regretted my actions.
Actually, from the moment i stepped out of the Salon i already did.
I specifically told the stylist what i wanted.
But what came out wasn't what i wanted.
Anger is the right word to describe my thoughts as of right now, more specifically for the past 2 days.

Sentosa. A summer escapade

Sentosa here we come.
A beautiful Monday morning, us lads decided to go to the beach.
a summer-esque party celebration.
Oh my its been years since i set foot on the island of Sentosa.
But first we met at SUBWAY Vivo and then set off to gather some drinks and food for a small picnic at the beach.
Specifically Palawan Beach.
We chose a site closer to Dolphin Lagoon where there were lesser crowd.
I tell ya the sun was more than happy to engulf us with its unbearable heat and ray.
But thats the whole point of coming to the Beach, am i right? To bask under the sun and soak up the lovely sun rays.
Saw a few hot babes. One of them was wearing a golden Bikini set.
Under the hot sun, it was a perfect match as illustrated by the equation below.
"Gold Bikini + Lotsa sunrays = Shimmering sexy gold"
Speaking of which, seeing LK having a short hair-do. Frankly speaking, it freshens up the whole person.
Good job, i shall have my haircut soon before term starts.
After that around evening time, we left Palawan and headed to Siloso to have a drink where Zhixin was so angry with a few ATBs.
Once again customer service, people. Tsk, tsk..
Then we headed back to Habourfront Centre to have our dinner.
All 4 of us had the Bibimbap (Man, finally got that right!).
Great, i would say.
But on a hot summer day like this, i would like to have a serving of Naeng Myeon (cold noodles in korean) to soothe my burning body.
Naeng myeon, naeng myeon, naeng myeon...
After that it was then time for us to go home when we've statisfied our stomach.
Dorothy took the train and the rest of us took 80 home.
I then eventually reached home at about 12midnight.
What a day and then immediately i snoozed off, heading to dreamland.....

A sense of satisfaction literally.
Manage to update my ipodtouch to software 3.0 without paying anything.
Well for a change, i decided to risk it and played with the theme this time.
It looks radically different from the ones downloaded straightaway from winterboard.

I got to say updating my itunes to the latest version 9.0 is indeed a wise choice.
The layout of the itunes store completely new, easy for ppl like me to navigate.

Well as the saying goes, easy come easy go.

Just finished playing the different hacks for Sonic 1 and 2. There'll be a future release of a HD version of Sonic 2, here's a snapshot of it.

In addition i'll also be playing the latest installment of Pokemon :Pokemon Platinum.

Will get a screenshot soon.

On another note, i think i'll be getting a hair cut soon to fix away my back hair and to freshen up my image.

Just stumbled upon videos on Sonic the Hedgehog gameplay.
Hai, reminds me of the days where i get traumatised by obstacles like rising water level and difficult map.
Certainly, it's one of the best games i have when Sega was still 'in'.
Some bird told me that there's a new 2D sonic Game up for grabs in 2010.
Its to distinguish those die hard sonic fans hunger.
Not sure on which platform but be sure to look out for it, Sonic fans ( including me ).

After the stupid boring speech, us bunch went to Plaza Singapore hoping to catch a movie.
However, we are not able to do so.
Therefore, we went to Pizza Hut for dinner and we also set up a surprise for Christina.
An early birthday celebration to be exact.
The oreo cheesecake was simply magnifique.
We went cam-whoring after that opposite PS at Giraffe.
The funniest scene was where Joey doing a jump-shot, her slipper flew above her and land in a pool just behind her.
It was the joke of the day.

As Dorothy needs to get home early, we then sent her to the MRT first before heading to a place to chill.
It appears that we were going to a place called loof.
The ambience there was cool and airy.
The large glass panels (Windows) aids in creating a airy feeling to the whole place.
Glassy haven.
I ordered a Loof special alcoholic drink, very special taste to it.
A great place for chilling out on an bored Tuesday.
Head home after that.
An hour later, home sweet home.

Just woken up from slumber.
Feeling abit groggy.
Watched Intimate note on SBS (Seoul Broadcasting Station)
Featuring BIGBANG members.
This is a game show where they put members who are having awkward relationships with one another.
So far i've only watched the episodes featuring SNSD, Shinhwa, SuperJunior and of course BIGBANG.
Can't seem to find the one with wondergirls. *sad*
I think if we were to have a chalet, we should input the ideas from this show and make it a game where everybody can share their deepest thoughts.
After all we are doing this to improve our bonding among ourselves.
Izzit me or that the JPop releases of recent are abit slower than usual.
Or maybe i'm too engrossed in KPop le.
Haha, i think the latter is true.
Simply too engrossed.

Tomorrow heading to Biopolis for some speech.
Have to wake up damn early.

Karaoke Marathon Sequel.

Unexpectedly met Zhixin and Juanping on my way out of the washroom.
Then saw Dorothy and Joey. Later came LK with that small bag/ purse whatsoever from Dior.
Bought the usual drinks and snacks and immediately head over to TeoHeng's.
We didn't waste any of our precious time, as time is money literally.
I tried alot of new songs.
Man, they seriously need to update their playlist for their Japanese and Korea songs.
Manage to find SuperJunior's 'sorry sorry' and SNSD 'Gee'.
I sang the both of them with the constant help from my Ipodtouch.
Another song that i sang was the Hongkong Drama theme song, the one showing on Channel 8, 9pm.
It was in cantonese, so i had difficulty in pronoucing the words properly.

Before coming for this session, i downloaded alot of lyrics into my itunes database.
Decided to try my luck to see whether these songs are available or not.
To my surprise, they are!
A sense of satisfaction overwhelms me as i finished both these songs.
Next, Zhixin and Juanping lend their voices to being the newest duo of the year.
Presenting to you "动力MRT".

After that me and Joey spammed the Karaoke machine.
Sang lotsa JJLin's song continuosly.
Dorothy was feeling sleepy and then a minute later, she was already lying flat on the couch.
Wow, she must be really tired.

What can i say? Time really flies.
Well, i had fun and i'm sure the others had their fun too.
It was close to 9.30pm when we were out of the mall, we then headed over to the Laksa stall a few streets down for supper.
Then for dessert, we ate Taiwan Ice Shavings.
Joey saw her secondary school classmate. Coincidentally, he's my friend elder brother.
What a small world, Indeed!

We originally planned to go watch "The Time Traveller's Wife" but cancelled later.
So we stayed abit longer over at the dessert shop and cam-whore outside the store.
Everybody was feeling tired including me, i think i could have strained my voice.
As a matter of fact, it's sounding a bit coarse as of right now.

Just learnt that we have to go back for a speech in Biopolis on next Tuesday morning.
It's gonna take up the whole day.
After that maybe we're going to town for some movie and shopping.
Come on its the holidays, relax man.
Or should i say 'chill-lax lahz'.
It's a hybrid nomenclature made up of "chill" and "relax", once again courtesy of LK.

Meeting the rest of them at 2.30pm at MArine Parade, most likely to stock up food and drinks for our K-Marathon.
So excited till i can thon tonight as warm-up.
I just bit my tongue that day.
I have problems eating and speaking.
Wonder will it affect my performance tomorrow.
Seriously tongue, you better not screw up my chance horz. OR else.. i have to sit down there and listen only.
Sure bored to death.

It's Coming -a premonition-

Something bad is coming. I can feel it........NOT!!
Today is the official first day of my holidays.
Went out with Zhixin, Juanping, Yongyu, Lk and Jeremy to watch Final Destination.

Smart me, spent 6 bucks to watch people die. Tons of swearing and gore.
Jeremy who was sitting beside me, was practically frightened to the point of wetting his pants. Whereas, i laughed throughout the show.
Their deaths are just too coincidental.
Not really realistic except one, the swimming pool scene whereby the guy was caught in the drainage hole of the pool. How can anyone hold their breath underwater for so long?
A big question mark indeed.
His death was the one that left me with the deepest impression.

So for the peeps out there who haven't catch this movie, don't watch it. It's just too fictional.
I'll give it a 3 out of 5 for the imaginative story line.
However i think the scene at the speedway reminded me of the recent incident in the world of F1.
The difference was that in the movie, it was NASCAR.
Some screw wasn't removed resulting in a car crash where EVERYBODY DIES.
A word of caution to all drivers, check before you drive. Or else who knows what's installed for you next.
DEATH is the answer.

After the movie, we went to Suntec and then head over to Roof terrace of the Esplanade.
We took several pictures there.
Panning shot of incoming cars from the direction of Raffles Boulevard, light trail shots and random shots of the remaining four of us.
Lk left for more First-Aid course and Yongyu left when we were at Suntec.

On the way, Zhixin came up with alot of ways to die.
It was super duper funny lah.
Well on a serious note, i think when its time for us to leave this world. Resign to your fate and let nature take its course.
We all have to die one day. Its just a matter of sooner or later.
With that, good night and sweet dreams my dear friends.

As what the title suggest, yes i've taken a liking in this specific genre.
Some current favorites of mine; Brown Eyed Girls, SuperJunior, KARA, SNSD and Tae Goon.
All their songs feature upbeat dance tunes and very addictive rhythm.

Song of the Day: Abracadabra by B.E.G
Go check out the MV for this particular song.
Very provocative as the girls shift their cutesy image to being modern city girls.
Definitely a thumbs up from me.

Another song i'll like to mention is Tell me Your Wish ( Genie ) by Girls' Generation, affectionately known as SNSD.
SNSD is a 9 member girl group. -Gee gee gee gee baby baby baby-
My favourite member being the very versatile Sooyoung.
She debuted in Japan for a short while with singer Takahashi Marina before being enrolled into this oestrogen-filled group.

As for now, i've taken a liking to SuJu's Sorry Sorry.

Finally, the end of the exams.

It sure wasn't as smooth sailing as i thought it would be.
First paper already very jialat. Plus the fact that i was super sick the week before, so nothing could get through me despite having stacks of notes inf ront of me.
The rest of the papers were very predictable.
Quite easy as a matter of fact.

Just yesterday after the last paper, zhixin gang, me, Jeremy, louis and riana went to Marina Square to have my first Shabu-Shabu experience.
So sua-ku lorz.

However, it's a great deal as you pay only 19 bucks for the continuous flow of soup and meat.
We had two variants of soup. Joey, riana and lk took the rather sweet tasting sukiyaki. On the contrary, we guys took the spicy, tongue-tingling kimchi soup base.
Very tantalising.

An eye-opening experience for me is the fact that Joey sure likes to eat eggs.
I think she cracked close to 8 or more into the hotpot.
Well, it clearly shows how elated we were after the last paper.

Well then after filling up our stomachs, we went to meet up with christina and went window shopping.
She was looking for a suitable clutch-bag.
We guys had our fun over at the Arcade.
What comes after the main-course?
Dessert of course. Upsized version, Haha.
We had yummy yoghurt, me and zx took the jumbo cup while louis took the medium sized one.
Clearly it wasn't enough for him. Haha

Next we head over to Harry's @ the epslanade for a drink.
A bottle of beer was enough to make my face go red.
That's my natural body reaction.
Then we stroll along the singapore river till clarke quay to have another drink at a jazz bar.
I ordered the pina coloda which tasted like milky almond with a tinge of pineapple.
We remained at the bar with our drinks till like 2 in the morning then we decided to leave.

My maiden ride on an Nightrider bus.
Louis and me took NR7 home while lk and zx took NR6.
Our bus came first and so we boarded.
The bus was speeding all the way, we practically heard the speed limiter warning going on for majority of the trip home.
It was an enjoyable time for me.

Missed AIMM lecture again.
Went straight for AIMM tutorial.
Before that on 69, something happened.
Never did i expect that there'll be pax load at 11am, not until i remembered that many schools are celebrating National Day.
So as usual, i board the bus despite the crushing load.
What made me cross was that the bus captain tried to make me alight by forcefully closing the door repeatedly.
However i managed to squeeze my big butt in and hope my presence doesn't disappoint him.
So that's 1 for the cheapo guy and nought for the irritating Ah tiong BC.

"Passengers please move in".
What he actually meant was" if you don't move in i'm gonna make the next passenger who board this suffer by 'kiapping' his butt with the door."

Oh yeah, the PCT quiz.
Nearly flunked it because i couldn't comprehend what the question was asking at first.
I never gave up.
I kept on thinking and EUREKA! the answers just appeared on the quiz paper itself.

Had a long chat with Jeremy along the way home.
Also purposely miss 4 bus 18 just to continue with the conversation.
It seems that we would never stop bastarding each other.
Haha.
I used to question people asking them whether or not Jeremy was my primary school friend.
To my surprise, majority thinks so.
In fact we only knew each other's existance during the orientation.
Well, you can say we're the 'best' of friends.
Heehee.

Old Habits Die Hard

Had lunch with Jeremy and Louis over at Tampines st 21.
Even though we agreed to meet in the late afternoon, i was still late.
I'm truly hopeless.
And for the punishment i gave them a treat.
The whole day was filled with lotsa fun comments such as Auto Corolla Axio and 'Advance'AIMM paper.
The latter's referring to the supplementary papers while the former is just a comment on Ranjetha's car.
Haha. What a nonsensical day!

Exams are really close now.
I have the sudden urge to chiong le.
Not referring to drinking lah - ON THE ROCKS! DON"T WANT MIXER -
Tommorrow's a free day for me. -Seldom get that -
Plan to use that to finish up my revision for the PCT quiz.
With that last quiz marks the last bit of coursework for this SEM.
So i must earn every possible mark for it.
As i aimed to get at least 2.5 for my GPA.

First let me just say that this post is dedicated to my ipodtouch
( reaching 2 years of age when this December comes )

So what does the number represent?

Over the span of 7 months, my ipodtouch has accumulated more than 600 songs.
Frinds of mine would know that i love the world of JPop therefore 98% of the songs can be accounted as Japanese and the remaining 2% are divided into the English and Korean songs.

In just another few weeks time, it'll be the Semestral exams.
During that period of time i'll be on hiatus.
Oh yeah i may start to give reviews on JPop soon so stay tune.

Yesterday once again i stayed overnight at LK's house except this time with the addition of Zhixin.
You know when ppl get drunk, different personalities start to take over their usual ones.
Haha.
First we went to have dinner over at grapevine.
The food there is nice and the ambience is perfect for couples.

Then next, we went to have a drink over at O bar.
Coincidentally both of them are situated near Kovan.

The nightlife rules.
We sang a few songs and LK had a tad too many drinks.
Overall it was fun.
However, it would be better if we had went to Karaoke.

Life's CHEAPO when you have JEEHOU

Apparently i'm such a cheapo.
Yesterday on bus 18 while travelling home with louis.
We saw this shoe bag at the seat diagonally opposite to us.
I was tempted to take a look what's inside the bag.
Eventually both of us went and sat on the seat with the shoebag.
The contents turned out to be a bag for after-swimming clothing.

I took it home then since no one else wants/ noticed it.
Threw all the stuff except the shoe bag.
It was quite a nice one. The only reason that led me to keeping the bag.
No other reason, seriously.
As promised, i'll post the pics of the shoebag soon.
Right now just hope my ipod can finish charging soon.
Cause my eyelids are very heavy.
Now i'm the one that needs to recharge, cause NO ENERGY liao!
Can't wait for tomorrow, celebrating louis' birthday.
Maybe going Karaoke again.
Or just a simple dinner, perhaps with a few light drinks.

What a relieve! Phew!

Turbochargers are the new tech for cars.
Diesel cars uses it too.
Especially those newer taxis running on our streets.
They've got bucket loads of TORQUE.
When leaving from standstill, i tell ya. Your neck might snap from the blistering acceleration.

On this week's TOPGEAR, Jeremy CLarkson referred the turbochargers as TWO MEATY TESTES.
Actually, on second thought they're quite similar.
It's just that the testes have bucket loads of C**.

Had Bchem2 quiz this morning.
Think this time just gonna scrape through.

After school, went to watch Harry potter.
Accompanied by Alvin, Jonathan, Perry, Jeremy and LK.

The transition from the previous movie to this was a big one.
I was left sitting on the retractable seat in the cinema trying to piece together what actually happened in between.

Decided to read the book itself.
May have a clearer picture of what actually happened.
This installment has lotsa lovey-dovey thingy all around.
Well as what Jeremy commented: "teenage raging hormones"
However at the same time, the movie has certainly moved towards a darker approach.
A Quote from snape himself
"Yes, i'm the half-blood prince"

The ending was abit abrupt.
The three friends just stood over the tower's balcony, staring at the horizon while dumbledore's phoenix flew past them.

What's installed for Harry next?

taking a breather

As the title suggests, it's been a tight week for me.
With all the projects, quizzes and assignments comingup.
I think i'm gonna go mad soon.

Not time-management again.

Today, i've decided to follow jeremy to the C.driving centre.
He went there to top-up his account and in the meantime book more lessons.
Well, i've to wait till october for my BTT.
Oh forgot to mention that i'll be taking private instead of the school.

Then at Bedok Int. i saw these two guys with heavy punk style dressing coupled with super cool contacts. They looked as if there were characters from some manga.

Speaking of which, when the holidays are here. I would want to work as a contact lens promoter.
Worn them several times, got the hang of it.
At the same time, i'll be able to earn some money for both the driving lessons and a new laptop.

Tomorrow is the seventeenth. Will be joining jeremy to watch Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince.

Just had a K marathon from 6pm-1am over at Teo Heng's.

It's my first time singing with zhixin,juanping, lk, joey,yongyu and dorothy.

Sure i made full use of my share of 15 dollars.
Sang damn lotsa songs.
Mostly english and chinese.
They do not update their playlist for jap songs moreover the lyrics are in kanji which i can't really understand.

After finish singing to our hearts content, we moved over to Hougang Plaza to play a game of pool.
My skills have deteriorated. Really very long never play le.

Overall had fun today.
Well its friday. Official end for a busy week.

Formula Drift

was at the formula drift event this morning.
The first time i get to see true drifting on our island.
when we reached there, saw a convoy of Nissan GTRs and 370Zs.
Took a couple of photos and then went in for the show.
Met up with yongyu, zhixin and juanping later at the Nissan mobile showroom.

I sat in the driver's cabin of the 370Z, it was damn low but the seat was very supportive.
Tried out the gear shifting while pressing onto the clutch.
The gear shifting was crisp with short strokes, simply loving it, wouldn't mind another trial.

Dream on!
Regrettably, the GTR-on-display was locked up.
Apparently, the car was too expensive for close-up contact.
Next, jumped onto the Nissan Qashqai.
Yongyu commented that i've the qashqai face. Actually quite true lorz , haha.
Overall, the show was great but pale in comparison to last year's according to the 4 of them.
( Damn! should have went for last year's event )
I went thru the scorching heat, cold rain and the chilling wind to see the action.
It was worth it.
After that, Jeremy and i went for dinner at Tampines St 21.
I decided to order something hot & spicy as i was freezing at that time.

Finally got the time to post.
It's been very hectic for the past week.
Bo bian, busy with FPath assignment.
Oh yeah, just tuesday evening i went to straighten my hair.
Cannot wash hair for like 2 days lah, damn horrible the feeling of not washing your hair.
Then by this morning, really bueh ta-han liao. So go wash hair.
My hair looks very soft now as compared to the previous which according to Jeremy looks like a stack of hay.
Quite true lorz. Haha.
Decided to go for the Formula Drift this year with jeremy and Zhixin.
Hope got 'surprises' installed.
Haha, can't wait, going to buy the ticket later on.

Went window shopping.
After dinner, birthday girl suddenly spotted with tears.
" Gasp! What happened? "
It was the expression on most of our faces.
Huijuan, me and brenda immediately ran over the fountain of wealth to dedicate a birthday message to her hoping it'll make her feel better. ( Kudos to Huijuan for such a brilliant plan )
While sihah, PJ, Suqin accompanied birthday girl.

History has repeated itself once again (thought not exactly repeating but it's similar). The king of pop, as you guys should know, Michael Jackson died on June 25 2009 at the age of 50.

Though I may not be a crazy fan of his but I respect him and appreciate his music. Nobody, I believe can defeat his record of winning 13 Grammy Awards and having 13 no.1 singles in a single career. It's kinda sad that how he would die being called a child molester but I do believe that he isn't one. Famous people like him will definitely encounter messed-up people and he might be conned into actually babysitting someone's child out of kindness and the family, wanting to have part of his Neverland Ranch, sue him for child molestation and his career went down (my guess).

Either way, there is no use in posting a 10,000 essay on my thoughts about him but one thing is for sure. He makes good music and his legacy lives on.

Kept thinking it'll be held on the 20th however it's actually on the day before.
Immediately rushed there in a cab.
Louis and Lk came out to pick me up.
Had a number of drinks.
In the end, Drank too much.
Was feeling very sleepy.
Went home with zhixin and the gang.
After the bus ride became nauseous.
Stomach churned and vomitted.

Finally got the motivation to blog once again.
Well, the past whole week i've been indulging on all sorts of anime ( check out faves list in my profile column).
Here's a brief outline of my daily routine:

Slept at 5 in the morning
Wake up around late afternoon
eat my 'brunch'
go cycling
eat dinner
watch anime till 4.30 in the morning

My hands are itching. Itching to spend my money on more clothings. I've been thinking of a new style of dressing however, it's gonna take time to happen.
To be more precise, step by step.
And so the holidays are nearing the end, can't wait to go back for lessons.

Dedicated a day to spring clean the whole house. Amazingly, i found my box of Tomica Toy cars. Used to collect them and even took the effort to refurbish some. While looking at these collectibles, i thought to myself how much money i've spent on these things. Each model used to cost $2.95. I have quite a lot of them by the way.

If i had saved up that amount of money, i could have owned the Macbook Pro by now.
However it was part of growing up. Kinda nostalgic when you think back.
Here's one of the models. Its a 2008 Toyota Yaris.

Its only the forth day of the holidays and i'm already bored to death. How i wish i can be as carefree as Jeremy, everyday go chiong license. At least that beats staying at home all day.
Enough said, holidays are meant to be enjoyed so i'll go find some friends to go cycle and jog with me. Must stay fit mah.

Read an article in the straits time, the temperatures could soar up to as high as 35 degrees. So a note to everyone, please take in more fluid.

woke up at 8am but feels like shit as i only manage to fall asleep just 2 hours ago. Skipped the cycling part and straightaway met the gang at Tampines 1 for dinner.
Went to F.I.S.H again.
This time ordered the Seafood lasagne. Damn filling lah with the pasta sauce and cheesy toppings.

After the meal, a bit gong gong de.
Nearly followed the girls into the same washroom.
Damn paiseh.

Next we went to chill out at Mac's. Discussed abt the GC chalet, it's been pushed back to the September holis. Also went to check out the materials for t-shirt design. Jumped from topic to topic. The topic we talked for the longest was the Paris&Milan thingy. "so embarrassing!"
Haha.
Feeling much better now.

On a random note, was wondering whether to get a new hair color. Till now still deciding.
In addition, still dreaming about my Macbook Pro. Hope to get it ASAP.
Ya, you need it so that you can maintain your handsomeness and for Macbook Pro. Next life bah. LOL. Just kidding <3

An Epicly Epic Day

Ya hi Jeremy here. I know this is my boss's blog and I am not gonna post much about my life but this is something that I really have to post.

I passed my Final Theory Test! That means, 1 more step and will be having a 'P' instead of a 'L' :D

Driving at the streets was kinda cool and scary at the same time. While driving, I felt that 40km/h was a rather neck-breaking speed to me and I have a really "awesome" instructor. He was really afraid that I might crash or something and for some instances, he "helped" to step on the brakes (If you guys didn't know, L plate cars have footbrake at the front passenger in case people who really suck at driving wouldn't be able to kill themself and the instructor at the same time).

He was so engrossed (or maybe afraid) that he stepped on the brakes even though it's green. So without me noticing, I just halfed my clutch and step the accelerator. Car stallage. At the corner of my eye, I saw him quickly release the footbrake. Why thank you, Sir. I DO really "appreciate" that kind thought of you trying to save my life but I believe I can do it myself. Thanks.

The highlight of the day would be pissing my pants in a Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT. Why? Because I flew the flyover in less than 1 minute at a literally neck-breaking speed of 170km/h god damn it! Defi Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Boost Gauges, Brembo brakes, some power-ass suspension, stiffer chassis and the rest is history. 200+bhp of gayness pulsating in it's 2.5L DOHC Turbo EJ255 H4 engine and the sheer acceleration flung my head so hard on the headrest that I can feel 1.5Gs exerting on my brain. So now I get it, Adrenaline don't pump that fast. It's the inertia that make you shit in your pants. Oh and also at a roundabout at 80km/h that I swear I felt 2Gs exerting on my whole body.

So yeah, look at this awesome day, how many if you can actually feel the speed of 150km/h on the streets? I bet none of you can ever experience it :P

P.S I wasn't driving that car, it was someone else who took the wheel.

Just a week ago, we were having our term tests. Everyday was just so hectic.

Wake up, study, take 69 still studying, reach school still still studying.

Everyday was just a repetition of the day before.
After that, i'll meet louis and jeremy @ flavours for more revision.
Mugging is just not my thing and doing this everyday is certainly not, in anyway fun at all.

Fast forward to another week and we'll get back our results. I've predicted mine.
All pass and 1 fail, AIMM. Neither do I understand Alex Lee (lecturer) nor the notes at all. I'm doomed for this subject.

Hopefully, i can make it up with the rest.

Tomorrow is the cycling trip, jiaen changed the meeting time to 1. Can sleep more.

Two tracks i'm spamming now on my iPod are Etsuraku Camellia and Gimmick Game. Coincidentally both songs are done by Mizuki Nana.

Dream Fighter by Perfume has climbed all the way to the 198 hits with Night Flight still in the lead.
I've started listening to JPop ever since i started watching anime and that was super long ago lah.
I remembered, my first anime series was Inuyasha. It was this same anime that dragged me into the world of JPop. From then on, i've only listened to this genre with a few additional mainstream pop songs.

Right now, I'm watching these 2 series, Namely they're "Eden of the East" and "Phantom~requiem of the phantom~". I recommend them to any anime fans. They are exceptionally good from the plot to the characters design, you name it they've got it!

On another note, still thinking of this Wednesday cycling trip. Hope the weather's sunny, don't rain please.

Holidays filled with outings

The date has been set. Its 10th june. Jiaen has managed to organize a follow up gathering for the '13'. We were given a choice, cycling or visit to night safari. Well, firstly being an biking enthusiast of course i'm all for the biking trip. Secondly, i wanted to bring lk on this trip too so that we can ride together.

Make up for lost time , i suppose.

Another outing on hold is TF04 class barbecue. I suppose i should go this time round. Its fun being around with the class especially with ppl like jeremy and the gang. Well not forgetting mich and assistant leader Dee too.

Can't wait for these outings to happen.

Term tests are finally over and the only way to celebrate this special day was to go chill out at F.I.S.H.
However this time its with fidah, dee and ranjetha. It's my second time there.
I had the Chicken cacciatore then, this time i too ordered something similar. Mozambique spring chicken. The first reaction i had when i saw the chicken was displeasing. " How come the portion so small?"

"Anything wrong about the portion?"
What the hell, she heard me? Yes apparently, the waitress overheard me. I damn paiseh. Nevertheless, i still enjoyed the food and the ambience there is just magnificent. After the maincourse, i ordered the carrot cake colossal.
It's damn big lah, but then it should at the price of $6.95.

After that, we went over to swensens to have our desert. I had the gold rush and ranjetha had the chewy choc. Its as if we owned Tampines, but it was damn worthwhile.

We soon left Swensens and headed towards the open plaza. Surprisingly, we met up with the guys. They just finished their dinner after watching 'Terminator Salvation'.

As quoted from jeremy, its a good movie if you like 'boom, Boom, BOOM!'.

Okay. That wasn't what i had in mind. Haha. We hog Ranjetha's cam for the night, took lotsa pics. The one i liked the most was the one with me in the circular structure. It was kinda like a shot for an album cover. Haha, dream on boy!

These pics are supposedly to be in the previous post 'PCT lab". However, i wanted to upload them in this post because to show the contrast, before and after term tests.

I smile more after the term tests, right? Haha, that'll be all for this post. I'll be updating my blog more often since its the holidays now.

Oh hi, this is my first official post. This is my views on Total Joke or Future Possibility. Look at this 2 awesome cars, the Impreza and Evolution. Their wagon counterparts aren't that ugly either right?

I would like to give credits to the creative team behind the "GT-R Wagon". It may look like a hearse (as stated from my boss) but come on it's just another Sports-to-Wagon process (E.g Lancer Evolution and Subaru WRX STi). It maybe a hearse but with a VR38DETT 3.8L V6 Twin-turbo engine, it can smoke typical cars on the road! It would be cool if they would mass-produce this "GT-R Wagon".

Wagons in my opinion are the most disgusting thing on earth, not because they look like a hearse but rather, they look more like a SUV which isn't something you race on the streets with. In Singapore, you don't see much hatchback cars around except for the new STi which looks pretty awesome.

So I guess that's all for now. I will post more stuff if I have the time and inspiration.

That can't be true. It's only recently that they just released the Godzilla and now the ( Gulp.. ) Godzilla Wagon?

Well, the 'hearse' is actually a Nissan Stagea which is an JDM exclusive model. (Wheww, what a relief)

Truthfully speaking, when i first saw this pic i was taken aback as the resemblance was simply uncanny.

It'll be a joke if it ever made it to production.

Jeremy and i had a 'meeting' over this matter, we think that its ugly to the core but very functional.

Put it this way, the extra boot space will be good for a fast holiday trip up North from S'pore ( if it turns to reality).

Its wednesday and its full-blown-lab day. What a bummer sia!

Was planning to wake up early to surprise my friends but end up nearly late for PCT tutorial.

Seriously, i've gotta kick this habit away for good.

Took a cab to school. No choice really. Dun wan another re-enactment of what happened to me last semester.

HPI pass/ fail grade because of being late. Pissed O.o

It was a bad start for the day, i agree. But what i love most are the lab sessions. You know, hands-on experiences.

The pictures above are the dragonfruit plantlets that we cultivated. Cool. I know.

Since there were several extra seeds left the previous session, i decided to cultivate some more dragonfruit seeds under the fake name of "CHI WEI LING".

Surprisingly, no one noticed. Well, overall school life's is fun for me. Looking forward to more challenges ahead.

On the other hand, Shoujo S has climbed up to the 50th spot on my "nuevo" playlist.

5 more months till my birthday.

Well, i've already put up a list of things that i wish to get as birthday presents.

Firstly, a new laptop. (Macbook, fell in love with it at first sight)

Secondly, my driving license.

Thirdly, a new pair of slip-on.

Lastly a new phone, preferably Samsung Ultra Touch.

However, my ultimate birthday wish is to get a Vee-dub Scirocco.

Do not belittle its small engine displacement -1390cc to be exact-

The truth is it stings like a bee. I'll then use it to drive to school.

Can't imagine jeremy's expression when he sees me driving to school in this sexy coupe.

Finally, i've managed to finish the latest addition to the FF7 series family which is Crisis Core. The ending was superb. The part where Zack's life was slowly draining away from the attacks. I can tell you this installment's rather short. the original series was much more longer than this. Throughout the game, i felt as if i'm part of the story.

'Embrace your dreams, protect your SOLDIER honor'.

*Zack places sword onto his forehead*

The friendship between Cloud and Zack is way deeper than what words can usually describe. Its as if they were real brothers. Such friendship is rare, i can say. As expected, Cloud became Zack's living legacy and so the buster sword was passed onto him. He bids farewell to his best friend and dragged his feet along the desert plains.

3 years later, he returned to Midgar and the rest is as follows......

On a random note, i hope they will remake the original series for PSP. I'm so gonna play that during my free time lahz. Auf Wiedersen for now..

Veedub of Singapore has finally shipped the newest generation of Scirocco onto our shores.

Judging from the exterior, i almost thought it was a design from Volvo. Volvo C30 anyone?

Ours come with 2 trims, a 1.4turbocharged and a 2.0turbocharged too. They say it drives exactly like a Golf GTI, but with a squater stance it obviously has more grip than its brethren. But people intending to buy this low-hanging coupe, listen up. It's a strict 4 seater. Personally, if i were to buy this car. I would have it in venom green paintwork. It resembles the very first generation. Now for the pricing, its $94 900 for the 1.4l 160bhp and $119 800 for the 200bhp 2.0l. Other competitors in this range would be the Volvo C30 2.5t and the Beemer 1 series coupe 2.0. So, guys take your pick.
